We don’t just make food. We tell stories. Korean Food Stories was built on the belief that food should be special, and we carry that belief into everything we do. It is our goal to serve the best Korean Food in Berlin!
An-nyeong-ha-se-yo! to Korean Food Stories
Homemade. Healthy. Hearty. Fresh. We love the traditional Korean cuisine, but we’re also aware of food trends and healthy eating. Which means we’re adding a modern twist on Korean cuisine and make it more suitable for every day. As a result we reduce, sugar, salt and fat as much as possible and let the flavour of each ingredient speak for themselves then just covering them with salty or sweet flavours.
At the same time we believe that healthy food doesn’t necessarily has to be expensive. We offer good food and good portions for good prices. Pay us a visit and discover one of the most up and coming cuisines from Asia.

KOREAN FOOD STORIES
Our restaurant is located in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg in Kollwitz Kiez. A lot of guests that visit our restaurant the first time say ” This place looks like it’s straight form New York.” And we kinda know where this is coming from.
My beautiful wife Helen is Korean and born in Toronto Canada, where she lived for most of her life. But she did also live in Seoul Korea for one and a half years. In fact this is where she got infected with the idea to open up her own Korean restaurant.
When she was young here parents where running one of the first health food stores in Toronto called Helen, which was specialized in vegan and vegetarian whole foods. The idea grew on her and she was looking for the perfect place to open up a restaurant.
During one of here holidays in Seoul I met her in a bar. Since then we were inseparable. She showed me the beauty of Korean cuisine and slowly also infected me with the restaurant idea. We both moved to Berlin and finally opened up our restaurant Korean Food Stories in November 2014.
This is where we share our story everyday. We’re happily married and have a beautiful son named Henry.
